Men continue to sit down while women and children are abused

Sowetan - - Opinion -

As I write this letter, my heart is sore. I can no longer keep quiet.

How can it be that infants and old women are violated like this?

Not even a single toyi-toyi when girls and women of South Africa are violated and humiliated by men.

Not so long ago, many men had the energy to protest over a painting of the president.

What an injustice! Men have become weak, emotional, sexually obsessed and women violators.

Black men are at the forefront in the slaughter of their own mothers. Fathers rape their own flesh and blood.

Before the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, we need a strategy to eliminate the victimisation of women.

Enough is enough. These disgusting rapists, abusers and molesters have gone too far. Shame on you men who continue to sit down when such evil is being done in front of your eyes.
