Television personality and medical doctor Musa Mthombeni is excited to be back on television to do what he loves most.

Mthombeni, who grew up presenting different shows, has joined SABC3’s popular show Trending SA.

He told Sowetan that television had always been his first love and he was pleased to return on a high note.

“I enjoy juggling the TV show with my work, it is fulfilling.”

Mthombeni said when he was approached about taking over from Shaka Sisulu he agreed because the show was exciting and popular. “I like the show because we can change it even at the last minute. Sometimes an interesting tweet comes up just before we go on air, we discuss it whether to add it or not.”

Trending SA is flighted on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9.30pm, and is currently presented by Pabi Moloi, Kuli Roberts and Nina Hastie.
