SOUT­HERN CA­PE The ni­ne an­nu­al Gour­mets and Gour­mands of Car­pe Diem s­chool will be ta­king pla­ce on 26 Au­gust and t­his y­e­ar ni­ne new re­stau­rants will be gi­ving in a big way al­ongs­i­de the ot­her stalwarts.

“Li­fe is a gift and it of­fers us the pri­vi­le­ge, op­por­tu­ni­ty and re­spon­si­bi­li­ty to gi­ve so­me­thing back by be­co­ming mo­re,” says An­tho­ny Rob­bins. E­ach y­e­ar t­his spec­ta­cu­lar e­vent lends the com­mu­ni­ty of the Sout­hern Ca­pe the op­por­tu­ni­ty to gi­ve.

De Doorn­kraal Bou­ti­que Ho­tel, si­tu­a­ted in Ri­vers­da­le will be a­mongst the ot­her re­stau­rants.

Their gu­e­sts en­joy fresh lo­cal fa­re, as well as mo­re exo­tic dis­hes in­spi­red by fla­vours from Eu­ro­pe, the Me­di­ter­ra­ne­an, A­sia and South A­fri­ca.
