This is the airline that just cannot stay out of the news. Last week, United Flight 1035 from Houston for Quito, Ecuador, was delayed nearly four hours after a scorpion crawled out of a passenger’s clothes and disappeared onto the plane (and no, they didn’t find it), Condé Nast Traveller reports. If that wasn’t enough publicrelations misery, a flight attendant last week mistakenly posted cockpit access codes online, the Wall Street Journal reports. The airline told the paper that the issue had been resolved without going into further detail.
