DON’T TRASH TV — IT SAVES LIVES

-

Paige, I very occasionally watch whatever “trash” is on TV, “OMG this will shock you! (November 12).

The show 1 000 Ways to Die featured death after irrigation of sinuses. Bacteria were dispersed and entered the brain via the ocular nerve.

I saw this episode when flipping channels while nursing an acutely ill adult son. I immediately checked his history, googled etcetera, and got prompt treatment for his condition — I believe saving his life! Wow hey!?

Programmes that are over the top, quirky, camp, kitsch . . . all grist to the mill! You’ve got to admire the chutzpah of the creators and consumers to actually put it/themselves out there! In my opinion your sexual opinions/adventures are equivalent. — Lyn
