Ewa Skowronska has been appointed executive director at the nonprofit Topsy Foundation. Its mission is to provide disadvantaged rural communities with support and tools to raise healthy children. She trained as a medical doctor and has a master of public health degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
10X Investments has appointed Tracy Jensen, an actuary with a master’s degree in financial modelling, chief financial officer.
Jensen has held various positions in her six years at 10X, including product development, corporate sales, spokeswoman, trustee and chief operating officer. 10X CEO Steven
Nathan said Jensen would add substantial value in her new role.
Gomezgani Kumwenda, a financial consultant, has been appointed MD of Carrick Wealth Malawi. He has a BCom (hons) in economics from the University of KwaZuluNatal and an MSc in risk management from Birmingham City University. Greg Stockton, who heads the Carrick international division, said the Malawi office was part of Carrick’s expansion strategy.
Vuyo Zitumane has been appointed CEO of Amatola Water. Zitumane has held numerous senior positions in the public sector. She was the executive director for corporate services with the Nelson Mandela Bay municipality and chairwoman of the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency board.
