Codes on varsity harassment, but not bullying

Do universities safeguard against harassment while bullying goes unchecked? Yes, according to a recent study in the US. Two researchers at Murray State University analysed 276 faculty codes of conduct and found only eight that mentioned bullying. Most mentioned their organisation’s aversion to harassment — particularly on the basis of race, religion, sex or other factors prohibited by law.
