Dead of Summer

With Halloween on the way, the creepy shows are probably going to start airing right about now, so we may as well get with the programme. The poster for this horror series got my attention with an idyllic scene of a lakeside tree with a tyre-swing hanging from it and a pair of legs sticking through it ... minus the rest of the body. Hmmm. An ensemble cast of camp counsellors and teens awaken an ancient evil at a seemingly pleasant summer camp. The US critics seem to be ambivalent about the show.
