1990:

MacCur­tain re­turns to the UK

2001:

Je­suits in Bri­tain in­ves­ti­gate Se­godisho’s com­plaint against MacCur­tain

2002:

MacCur­tain is banned from pub­lic min­is­ter­ing and put un­der su­per­vi­sion at a Je­suit cen­tre in Lon­don

2003:

Se­godisho re­ceives a R25,000 ex-gra­tia pay­ment from the Je­suit in Bri­tain

2017:

Je­suits in Bri­tain ap­proach the Dorset po­lice with their in­ves­ti­ga­tion of Se­godisho’s al­le­ga­tions against MacCur­tain, which they say are “well founded”. In the same year, a damn­ing re­port into child sex­ual abuse in the Catholic church is re­leased by Aus­tralia’s RMIT Univer­sity’s cen­tre for global re­search

Fe­bru­ary 2018:

Je­suits in SA and the Johannesburg Catholic Dio­cese claim this is the first time they have been made aware of Se­godisho’s claims against MacCur­tain
