- VEANTHA NAIDOO

SHAH RUKH Khan and Anushka Sharma fans are in for a treat as their latest film, Jab Harry Met Sejal is now showing at cinemas nationwide.

The Indian romantic comedy movie was written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. It features Khan and Sharma in the lead roles – their third film together after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan respectively.

Filming took place in locations such as Europe and in India.

The plot revolves around Khan’s character who is a tour guide, and after dropping a family at the airport, he discovered that Sharma’s character lost her engagement ring.

The movie unfolds with them going in search of the ring. However, soon they become attracted to each other and various complicated issues arise.

They soon find out that a criminal had stolen the ring; however, Sejal, Sharma’s character, found the ring in her bag.

Critics have been harsh on Khan. In a recent interview, Khan said: “Some critics have talked about the magic being missing. I think Imtiaz Ali (the movie director) would not like to recreate that magic the same as had in previous films like Jab We Met, Rockstar and Highway.”
