Treat the fam­ily to Chats movies by starlight

“Since there is no movie com­plex in Chatsworth, we thought of cre­at­ing a fam­i­lyfriendly en­vi­ron­ment. We are hop­ing to recre­ate the at­mo­sphere of a drive-in, where peo­ple can have fun.”

He said the movie night would be a fund-raiser for the cen­tre, and tick­ets would be sold at R30 a per­son or R100 for a fam­ily of four or five. They can be bought from the cen­tre and en­trance will be free for chil­dren un­der the age of 7.

Marsha Naidoo, a res­i­dent of Chatsworth, said she was look­ing for­ward to the ex­pe­ri­ence of watch­ing a film in an out­door set­ting with her chil­dren. “I think this is a much-needed com­mu­nity ini­tia­tive,” she said.
