Skweyiya died as the nation was preparing for the memorial of service of Struggle icon Winnie Madikizela-mandela.
Skweyiya died on Wednesday morning, a day after the country held the 25th commemoration of ANC-SACP leader Chris Hani’s assassination in Ekurhuleni.
The 75-year-old Skweyiya died three days before his birthday. See page 17
