Moyane’s disciplinary hearing postponed
THE disciplinary hearing of suspended Sars Commissioner Tome Moyane has been postponed. It will be heard once his Constitutional Court review of the proceedings has been finalised.
He is facing charges, among others, of mishandling the Financial Intelligence Centre report pertaining to Jonas Makwakwa, his former deputy.
This week, Moyane filed an application challenging President Cyril Ramaphosa’s setting up of the Nugent Commission of Inquiry into Sars at the same time as his disciplinary hearing.
