SINCE its formation in 1997, Jakes Communications has been involved in soccer event management and is owned by Kaizer Chiefs marketing manager Jessica Motaung and her former partner Ken Simmons.

Before their much publicised break-up due to a love relationship with one of Kaizer Chiefs employ

’ ees, Thato Matuka, Motaung ended their long engagement and moved out of the Bryanston home they shared with their two kids.

Simmons accused Motaung of having an affair with Matuka and confronted the young lover early this year.

As tensions reached boiling point, Motaung decided to move out of their upscale house with the children.

In March Sunday World revealed details of the strained relationship and that Motaung was living with her mom in Hyde Park, north of Jozi.

As things stand, it is not clear whether the business partners have gone their separate ways regarding Jakes Communications.

Motaung and Matuka had denied they were lovers. Said Motaung then: Ken

“and I have personal problems that have nothing to do with a third party. I can confirm that we are no longer engaged.” Matuka said: There s

“’ nothing going on between me and Jessica. She is my boss and obviously she has an interest in my work.”

But since then the two have come out of their shell and have been seen together at soccer matches and other sporting events.
