URBAN Brew Studios has made three new appointments. Herbert Hadebe has been appointed the head of scripted productions, Adelaide Joshua-Hill will head unscripted productions and Joanne Lurie is the new head of Creative.
Hadebe brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the film and TV industry.
Last year, he was selected as an Emmy Award juror and attended the event in New York.
He works on two drama series for Urban Brew Studios, Mzansi Magic s
Zabalaza and e.tv s recently ended Gold
Diggers . Adelaide Joshua-Hill started her career at Urban Brew in 2009 as an
education consultant for YoTV.
She then became head of YoTV mini and went on to head its portfolio.
Joanne Lurie, in the TV industry for 13 years, spent eight of her nine years at Urban Brew producing 3Talk with Noeleen.
Before joining the company, she worked on The Weakest Link, The Biggest Loser and Big
Brother . Liz Rowland has been appointed GM at Garden Court Morningside.
She was previously the Deputy GM at Southern Sun OR Tambo.
She started in the hotel industry with Tsogo Sun in June 1998 as a receptionist, and worked her way up through studying, doing hotel industry-related courses.
