Julie reaches for the stars

Talk of the Town - - News - ROB KNOWLES

SEVENTEEN-year-old Kirsten Julie is a step closer to realising her ambitions now that she is a finalist at the Miss High School SA pageant.

Julie, who is an actress and a choreographer in her extracurricular activities, is a pupil at Port Alfred High School who is keen to be in show business. She is always looking for ways to achieve her dream of being the star she feels she was born to be.

The pageant is aimed at identifying bright, young individuals who will be ambassadors to represent High School students in South Africa, in various initiatives, with the main one being the Girl Power initiative. It is a platform that affords young, talented and driven young women the space to be promoted by sponsors and brands, thus empowering them to take charge of their lives as public personalities.

The pageant is due to take place on December 9 this year, and voting closes end November. Vote for Kirsten on the Miss High School SA Facebook page by scrolling down to Kirsten's picture and “Like”, as each like counts as a vote.
