Annual morning market for PA church
THE annual morning market for the Presbyterian Church will be held on Saturday September 30 from 8am in the church grounds on the corner of Southwell Road and Becker Street.
This annual event is a major fundraiser for the church and in the past has proved to have been a great place for those seeking bargains and an opportunity to meet with friends over the refreshments on sale.
The normal activities and stalls will be available: tea / coffee garden, variety of food stalls (curry and rice, pancakes, boerewors rolls and more), cakes and sweets, delicatessen, fresh produce, second hand clothing, needlework, plants, books and the popular white elephant stall.
In addition to these, the church committee has introduced a couple of new stalls that will provide interesting and worthwhile opportunities to visitors, being:
Camping equipment (tents, chairs, braai equipment, awnings, off-road vehicle recovery items (high-level jack, snatch strap etc), and much more
“Big Ticket” items (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer)
There also a number of “collectables” on offer
