An­nual morn­ing market for PA church

THE an­nual morn­ing market for the Pres­by­te­rian Church will be held on Satur­day Septem­ber 30 from 8am in the church grounds on the cor­ner of South­well Road and Becker Street.

This an­nual event is a ma­jor fundraiser for the church and in the past has proved to have been a great place for those seek­ing bar­gains and an op­por­tu­nity to meet with friends over the re­fresh­ments on sale.

The nor­mal ac­tiv­i­ties and stalls will be avail­able: tea / cof­fee gar­den, va­ri­ety of food stalls (curry and rice, pan­cakes, boere­wors rolls and more), cakes and sweets, del­i­catessen, fresh pro­duce, sec­ond hand cloth­ing, needle­work, plants, books and the pop­u­lar white ele­phant stall.

In ad­di­tion to these, the church com­mit­tee has in­tro­duced a cou­ple of new stalls that will pro­vide in­ter­est­ing and worth­while op­por­tu­ni­ties to vis­i­tors, be­ing:

Camp­ing equip­ment (tents, chairs, braai equip­ment, awnings, off-road ve­hi­cle re­cov­ery items (high-level jack, snatch strap etc), and much more

“Big Ticket” items (dish­washer, wash­ing ma­chine, tum­ble dryer)

There also a num­ber of “col­lecta­bles” on of­fer

The church com­mit­tee looks for­ward to a bumper day and wel­comes all vis­i­tors – please con­tinue give your gen­er­ous sup­port.
