Speeding cars killing animals

Talk of the Town - - Opinion - PETRUS BOTHA

IN DECEMBER there were baby ducklings whose habitat was along Beach Road, but they were all run over and killed, aside from three of them.

This as a result of the speed at which people drive along Beach Road.

At the end of January there were also a group of baby dassies that were killed, because people do not stop if the dassies cross the road, they just ride over them.

This morning (March 8), I found two more dead young dassies next to the road.

We appeal to people to please watch out for our town’s wild animals.
