Local business has continued to grow
RELLIDOR Port Alfred owner Rob Nel and his team are celebrating their seventh year under the franchise and thank the local community for its continued support.
Rob and his wife Michelle moved to Port Alfred in 2011 after purchasing the franchise, which has served the area for more than 17 years.
“Michelle and I initially ran the business together with one other staff member and one vehicle,” Rob said.
“We now have a staff complement of 10 and four vehicles.”
Michelle, who qualified as a teacher, is now forging a new career for herself.
The company’s staff have a wealth of security experience to share with customers to help them improve their
Tsafety at work and at home. “Michelle and I were distributors in Port Shepstone for Trellidor Margate when the opportunity came up to purchase the Port Alfred business,” Rob said.
“Installer Wellington Button has been with the franchise for 16 years.”
Rob said his whole team had been instrumental in the expansion of the business, to the point where they have had to expand their premises to accommodate an assembly line for their aluminium garage door line.
“Over the years, the Trellidor range has grown to include lifestyle products that are ideal for coastal homes.
“Our Trellidor Clear Guard security screens are an excellent choice for homes with lovely views and our new Trellidor Security Shutter louvres are made from corrosion resistant aluminium.”
Trellidor Holdings purchased Taylor Blinds and NMC decorative mouldings in 2015 and Trellidor Port Alfred is an authorised distributor of these products, in addition to the full range of Trellidor security barrier options.
“This has given us a wide selection of home improvement products to offer residents.
“We can help them to select anything from window blinds to cornices and skirting to security gates, burglar proofing and louvre shutters.
“We encourage people to visit us at our showroom to see all these exciting ideas, as well as to celebrate our birthday with us,” Rob said.
