Corrupt manager jailed for 12 years
A general manager for an Eastern Cape development trust has been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for corruption involving R3 million.
Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) spokesperson Captain Anelisa Feni said yesterday Samuel Banzana, 54, was sentenced to 12 years by the Port Elizabeth Commercial Crime court.
“As a manager of Mzingisi Development Trust, Banzana solicited bribes to award building contracts for hundreds of houses in Port Elizabeth,” Feni said. – ANA
