Pupil stabbed in ‘revenge a ack’

A 17-year-old Grade 9 pupil was repeatedly stabbed in what was believed to be a revenge attack at Trenance Park Secondary School in Verulam yesterday, private security firm Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa) said.

Rusa received a call from the school requesting medical assistance for the pupil who had stab wounds in his chest, arm and ribs.

Last Friday, a Grade 11 pupil accused the victim of stealing his girlfriend and the stabbing is believed to be linked to that. – ANA
