SA players star for the Baa Baas

– The French Barbarians edged Samoa 20-19 on Saturday.

Samoa, smarting from a 40-9 mauling by Ireland last week, went in front with tries from Alapati Leiua and Brando Vaaulu.

The Baa Baas hit back through South Africans Henie Adams and Gerhard Vosloo before Samoa captain Kahn Fotuali’i crossed for a third try. Adams then scored his second.

Flyhalf Valentin Courrent converted a late penalty for the win. –
