The perfect spot for a tipple

LOUNGE IN THE HEART OF EMPERORS PALACE

-

A comprehensive drinks menu.

The heart of Emperors Palace is the gaming floor. The excitement, the inviting dings and clicks of the machines and the flushed faces after striking a jackpot are even more highlighted over drinks at Marc Anthony’s Cigar Lounge.

It’s actually Emperors Palace’s ace up its sleeve: the perfect spot for pre-show drinks at the Theatre of Marcellus (which is right next door) or if you simply want to take a break from the tables.

The lounge has a range of delicious cocktails, perfect for a date night – or a slow sip at the end of the week. Cocktails aside, there’s also a range of beer (craft included) for those opting for brewed bliss.

While these are lounge and bar staples, it’s the ambience of Marc Anthony’s that really makes it special. There’s a small stage, often home to a lounge singer or jazz musician (there’s even comedy nights).

More importantly, there are other tipples to suit your palette – and more refined tastes are catered to. If you enjoy a good brandy, cognac or whisky, you’re sure to find it at the well-stocked bar.

Afterwards it’s worthwhile to explore the palace. On right now is Transformers Animatronics, a unique event based on the popular Hasbro saga that has broken box office records for both movies and television.

The travelling exhibition features 12 animated Transformers, nine sculptures scaled between 2m and 11m made from car parts, and a further 20 statues varying in size.

In addition, an impressive arsenal of weapons used by the Transformers characters will also be showcased.

Young and old will immerse themselves in the incredible universe of Optimus Prime and his companions, from its origins in the world of comics to the televi- sion series and blockbuster movies.

Autobots and Decepticons will also feature prominently, accompanied by the latest Dino Bots and famous Rescue Bots, the famed pre-school series that has expanded the Transformers fan base.

Transformers Animatronics was created by Agosin Events, a company with more than 20 years of experience in family entertainment, and Universal Exhibition Group Inc, a respected exhibition organiser which has been on the forefront of international entertainment

The exhibition will be hosted until May 28 in Red Roman Shed from 10am to 7pm daily.
