HIV can sink SA’s education
I was disappointed by the new revelations in the HIV/Aids statistics among SA’s schoolteachers. The statistics show that there are about eight new infections every day among our teachers. This is worrying.
Our teachers are the ones who should be teaching our children and showing them the way.
If those teachers don’t adhere to the recommendations of this disease they will book off sick now and then, and may eventually die – and where does this put our education?
