Seven die in Cape Town fires

Seven people, including four children, died in two separate fires in the early hours of the morning, the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Services said yesterday.

An adult male, adult female and four children sustained fatal burns in a fire in Mpangele Crescent in Philippi East.

In another fire in Phola Park informal settlement in Gugulethu, five structures were destroyed and one man died. – ANA
