Ital­ian poi­sons his ‘un­clean’ fam­ily

– Ital­ian police yes­ter­day ar­rested a man who used thal­lium, used in rat poi­son, to mur­der his grand­par­ents and an aunt be­cause he claimed they were “un­clean”.

Mat­tia Del Zotto, 27, said he killed them “to punish un­clean peo­ple”.

Del Zotto sprin­kled the toxic chem­i­cal in the drinks and dishes of his fam­ily mem­bers. His grand­par­ents, 94 and 88, and a 62-year-old aunt died af­ter in­gest­ing the poi­son. – AFP
