Mncwango still waits
Polokwane City’s sidelined striker Thobani Mncwango (right) is taking comfort from what happened with Kaizer Chiefs defender Philani Zulu while at Maritzburg United. Zulu spent almost a year training on his own after a contract dispute with the team. “Mncwango is comforted by the fact that Zulu has got his career back on track at a big club after what happened at Maritzburg,” said a source close to the player. Mncwango has been left out of the Rise and Shine team since he refused to sign a contract extension as he was hoping to move to Orlando Pirates. “He could still join Pirates in January if everything goes according to plan,” said the source.
