Parker has got it wrong

Bernard Parker must be confused. He said SA’s strikers are not scoring because our midfielders are not creative enough.

That is not correct because in my opinion in this country we have some of the most creative midfielders in the world.

Mr Parker needs to watch videos of all matches played in recent years. He will see how many easy chances our strikers, including himself, are missing, week in week out.

For him to say our midfielders are not creative is wrong.

Maybe it’s the case at Chiefs, because they do not have real No 10s or playmakers.

If one looks at Chiefs, in my opinion the club has some of the best strikers in SA, but because of their lack of creative midfielders such as the likes of Ryan Moon, Gustav Paez, Leonardo Castro, Itumeleng Shopane and the young Emannuel Letlotlo, they will never deliver the goods.
