Ferrari happy with his Peugeot

-

WHAT an amazing story of Irv Gordon and his Volvo P1800S coupe (“Gordon’s volvo racks up five million kms – and counting”, February 17).

It reminds me of Enzo Anselmo Ferrari and his beloved Peugeot 404.

People asked why he drove such a “cheap” car when he could be driving one of his supercars and he responded that he was satisfied with it as it was designed by the Italian company, Pininfarina, as much as Volkswagen’s initial Golf was designed by the Italian design house of Giuigaro.

Source? Ferrari’s autobiography titled My Terrible Joys.
