BEIJING: Fast car chases return to the eighth instalment of the Fast and Furious film franchise, and Oscar winner Charlize Theron joins the cast with her own “badass jet”.

The Fate of the Furious sees lead character Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, go rogue. Theron plays the villainous Cipher.

“Charlize was very upset when she found out that she wasn’t going to drive any cars, but Cipher, I think, was very excited to know that she was going to have her own badass jet,” Theron said. – Reuters
