Zuma must not lie about so-called third force
DEAREST South Africans, I stand up “on a point of order” to correct ANC KwaZulu-Natal provincial secretary Super Zuma who is manufacturing a story that there is a “third force” trying to destabilise the country using our province as an entry point.
So many people die but we pay huge salaries for State Security Minister David Mahlobo and former head of police crime intelligence Richard Mdluli.
He has identified the “third force” as the main driver of “ANC killing ANC” in KwaZulu-Natal. This claim has very short legs and must not be sustained.
We are now 23 years into democracy and this Zuma is speaking of a third force. It is not the third force that used Berning Ntlemeza, Muziwendoda Kunene, Mdluli and Gideon Niewoudt to fight ANC battles. It is not white monopoly capital that built Inkandleyihlekisa Palace at R246 million deep in a sea of poverty. It is neither the third force nor white monopoly capital that bought a R440m palace in Dubai.
This violence is between ANC factions fighting for tenders, state resources and transformation of the ANC into a “den of looters”, mafias and militia similar to those of the DRC.
That is why the likes of Mdluli, Kunene and Ntlemeza are critical players in turning the ANC into “a haven of political thugs”.
Never in the history of the ANC has it had the son of the president shouting at an NEC member like was done to Pravin Gordhan. The best way to honour Sindiso Magaqa and all former ANC cadres and deployees killed in ANC “civil wars”, is to admit there is an “internal civil war” the party faces, not a third force.
