LONDON: A luxury nursery furniture company has created the world’s first cot with an iPad dock, prompting horror from child psychologists and sleep experts.

Gary Taylor, 35, designed the £2 000 (R37 000) mahogany cot with a holder for the tablet after struggling to get his 9-month-old daughter Graysie to sleep.

The businessman and his wife use white noise apps to help get Graysie to sleep.

But Dr Anna Joyce, who specialises in children’s sleep, warned that the blue light emitted from screens blocks the natural release of melatonin, which helps promote sleep. | Daily Mail
