Sort out your own life

The New Age (Gauteng) - - COMMENT -

I HAVE seen many people who are more concerned with what happens next door than their own lives.

This is evident in our addiction to Europe’s news and sport, rather than events in our country. We have enough problems but we still add to them with matters that doesn’t concern us. We are so good at asking for more trouble.

Life is too short to be forever worried when we are supposed to be embracing our lives every chance we get. As my favourite saying has it: “We live once, and die once.” It seems like most people tends to forget that. We should concern ourselves with our own lives as that would be a great start to get on with our lives.

We don’t have to butt in where there is no need to do so. Problems never end, so it’s better to face them ourselves and deal with them as they come our way.
