A$AP Ferg in SA
AMERICAN rapper A$AP Ferg has officially touched down in Mzansi and is looking forward to exploring Johannesburg and see where the late struggle icon, Nelson Mandela, lived.
“I am looking forward to performing for the first time in South Africa, hanging out with the people, learning as much as I can from them and hopefully find time to see where Nelson Mandela lived, so that I can I have something to take back home with a magic touch,” he said.
A$AP Ferg was speaking at a press conference at Sportscene at the Mall of Africa, ahead of the first Capsule Festival at the Mary Fitzgerald Sqaure in Newtown, tomorrow.
A first of its kind annual street culture, the festival aims to be the Mecca for all urban culture brands, artists, designers and stakeholders.
The festival will see more than 30 local acts performing including Kwesta, AKA, Sho Madjozi, Da Les and Nasty C.
