‘Book­keeper of Auschwitz’ dies

BER­LIN: Oskar Groening, known as the “book­keeper of Auschwitz” one of the last peo­ple to be con­victed for crimes in the geno­cide of Europe’s Jews, has died aged 96. He was sen­tenced to four years for his role in the mur­der of 300 000 Jews. – Reuters
