CONTROVERSY prone and flashy record label and event organisers Mabala Noise recently confirmed a second date for American soul singer Robin Thicke.

The I’m Lost Without You singer’s smooth vocals will serenade Durban music fans as part of the official Vodacom Durban July launch party at Greyville Racecourse today.

This pre-Durban July concert also features the sounds of rapper French Montana and local stars such as Nasty C, Du Boiz, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Kwesta, Riky Rick, Emtee, DA LES, Gigi Lamayne, Zakwe, L’Vovo, Nadia Nakai, Zakes Bantwini and many others on the line-up.

Thicke’s second performance at the Birchwood Hotel is yet another highly anticipated show alongside SA’s platinum selling songstress Lira and Kaya FM’s DJ Kenzhero on Sunday. On the eve of the series of events, Mabala Noise spokesperson Mhlo Gumede said they were ready to host one of the country’s biggest music concerts in Durban and Johannesburg.

“As an entertainment house, music forms an essential part of our DNA but most importantly, it plays an essential role in the lives of South Africans,” Gumede said. “We are ready to host French Montana and Robin Thicke. Montana is already in the country.”
