HEAD to the Pump­kin The­atre for an­other ter­rific line-up of 90-min­utes of non-stop com­edy en­ter­tain­ment. On tour from Cape Town is none other than com­edy icon, Marc Lot­ter­ing. You can also catch the hi­lar­i­ous Robby Collins. This highly tal­ented co­me­dian was per­son­ally se­lected as Trevor Noah’s open­ing act at more than 70 shows across the coun­try, in­clud­ing his lat­est coun­try­wide sold­out tour, Na­tion Wild. Con­sid­ered one of the most prom­i­nent faces of the new gen­er­a­tion of South African co­me­di­ans, Robby has made ap­pear­ances at The Heavy Weight Com­edy Jam, Kings and Queens of Com­edy and Com­edy Cen­tral Live at Park­ers. The Black Lapels, one of Dur­ban’s most renowned bands, are ex­cited to add to their sta­ble of shows their lat­est of­fer­ing, Cal­i­for­nia Sun­shine. The show pays tribute to the birth of the LA mu­sic scene and the mu­sic of The Ea­gles, Neil Young, Crosby Stills and Nash, Bob Dy­lan, Joni Mitchell, The Byrds, Cree­dence, Jack­son Browne and Van Mor­ri­son. Th­ese artists and their mu­sic de­fined an era and set the tone for a gen­er­a­tion of hip­pies, beat­niks, bo­hemi­ans, artists, poets, pro­test­ers, lovers of ex­cess and free­dom to live and love by.
