In the glit­ter­ing land of Win­ter, a lonely snow-girl is granted her wish to be­come hu­man, on one con­di­tion, she must never fall in love. As her icy heart melts into the first blos­soms of spring, she be­gins an ad­ven­ture that will take her through the sea­sons, around the world, and across the bor­ders be­tween dreams and re­al­ity. Join the women of the Women’s In­sti­tute in north­ern Eng­land on their jour­ney from tai chi to chips via a whirl­wind of tears trep­i­da­tion, tri­umph and laugh­ter. Based on the true story of mem­bers of a WI who cre­ated an al­ter­na­tive cal­en­dar to raise funds for char­ity, fol­low­ing the death of one of their hus­bands.
