Combined natural growth promoting products – the new way in pathogen control.

Bacterial contamination, especially Gram negative bacteria contamination of the GIT is one of the major problems in the poultry industry. Many attempts have been done in protecting and treating the animals with Gram negative bacteria contamination, using antibiotics and many other substances. One of the oldest methods used is the acidification of the gastro-intestinal tract (GIT). Organic acids have the ability to modulate the intestinal microflora, enhancing the growth of beneficial bacteria like

Lactobacilli while reducing the number of pathogenic Gram negative bacteria. In the modern livestock industry combination of different organic acids are used, because of the broader spectrum of activity.
