LAST Monday morning, a farm manager called for assistance as suspects were stealing pigs on site, operations manager Willie Reynecke told The Rep. Response officers apprehended two of the suspects who were handed over to the police.

On Thursday evening, response officers attended to a panic alarm at the private hospital where they apprehended a suspect who was illegally on the construction site, and also handed him over.

At 2pm last Friday, response officers were summoned to a house by a panic alarm. The home owner was inside and a suspect was attempting to break in through a window, but they apprehended and handed him over.

Saturday was an action-packed day. At 10am, response officers attended to a panic alarm at a mini market where they apprehended a suspect who was fighting with the store owner.

At 11.30am, they were summoned to a butchery where they apprehended a suspect who was causing problems on site and beating other customers.

That night, a response officer on patrol was stopped by an unknown male who said he had been robbed by three suspects inside a tavern. They chased after the suspects and managed to apprehend one who was handed over to the police for further action. – Rep reporter
