Of­fi­cers ar­rest as­sault sus­pect

RED Guard re­sponse of­fi­cers, re­act­ing to the ac­ti­va­tion of a panic but­ton, ap­pre­hended a man who was al­legedly as­sault­ing his fa­ther in Ez­i­be­leni on Jan­uary 2.

Op­er­a­tions man­ager Wil­lie Rey­necke said the man was handed over to the po­lice.

Of­fi­cers, re­act­ing to an alarm at a fast food out­let, ap­pre­hended a man who had al­legedly as­saulted cashiers at an­other out­let on the same day. He was handed over to the po­lice.

On Fri­day, re­sponse of­fi­cers man­aged to ap­pre­hend four sus­pects fol­low­ing a break-in at a lo­cal school. Stolen goods were re­cov­ered and the sus­pects handed over to the po­lice.

A sus­pect, al­legedly found to be break­ing into the SPCA over the week­end, was handed over to the po­lice.
