Sunday, the open A division golf championships took place. The morning Stableford was won by Duncan Neill on 39 points and the runner-up was Tom Gigiya with 37.

Saturday, 88 athletes completed parkrun event #170 in sunny conditions. The route was not too muddy despite the rain during the week.

It was great to again have visitors from East London, Johannesburg (the first “windgat” tourist to pay Stutt a visit in the lime cap – 111 different parkrun venues completed) and London.

There were also several first-timers.

Congratulations to Jess Coetzee on doing her 25th stint as a volunteer – that now gives her a red, black and purple milestone shirt.

Shiree Heidtmann completed her 150th parkrun, leaving her only 100 more to a green shirt.

A comment from a visitor says it all, “Such a friendly bunch of smiling people to cheer us around the route!”

Next week will see Len Norman doing his 100th parkrun.
