Boxes full of meat stolen from abattoir
Red Guard response officers removed a man who allegedly tried to stab a woman in an electrical shop in Komani last week.
Operations manager Willie Reynecke said the man was removed from the store.
Last week, response officers apprehended one man following the theft of 15 boxes of meat from a local abattoir. The suspect was handed over to the police.
A man who had allegedly been robbed at an ATM and a suspect were referred to the police last Tuesday.
A man who allegedly stole gardening equipment from a bed and breakfast, was released after the client declined to open a case on the same day. Another man who allegedly stole a toolbox from a vehicle, was apprehended but released as the owner declined to open a case.
A man who allegedly shouted at and threatened a tavern owner was removed from the site by the police on Thursday.
A man who allegedly tried to take a car for a test drive and then drew a firearm and ordered the dealership’s representative out of the vehicle, was apprehended by the police. Red Guard also attended to the scene. – Rep reporter
