State of Dumpy Adams in spot­light

A meet­ing is be­ing planned to dis­cuss the de­te­ri­o­rat­ing state of the Dumpy Adams Sta­dium in Ko­mani.

The Rep re­ported (“Too bad to play”, Oc­to­ber 26) that there was great con­cern over the state of the sta­dium as the chang­ing rooms had been van­dalised, with the cricket fa­cil­i­ties also dam­aged.

Enoch Mgi­jima Lo­cal Mu­nic­i­pal­ity (EMLM) com­mu­ni­ca­tions of­fi­cer Gcobani Msind­wana said the com­mu­nity ser­vices direc­torate would meet with stake­hold­ers and come up with plans that would be put in place to mit­i­gate “on the litany of prob­lems that we are ex­pe­ri­enc­ing at the sport fa­cil­ity”.

The date of the meet­ing is not yet known. – Rep re­porter
