COOK AND ENJOY AT THE ANGELA DAY KITCHEN
BRANDY AND CHOCOLATE EVENING WITH DISTELL AND BEYERS
Date: Wednesday, November 19 Time: 6.30-9.30pm Cost: R250 a person
Nicholas Holdcroft from Distell will teach you how to enjoy the perfect brandy and you will taste a variety of Klipdrift and Van Ryn aged brandies. Enjoy a brandy cocktail on arrival. Angela Day will serve a delicious three-course meal – brandied chicken liver paté with melba toast, beef fillet with a mushroom brandy sauce, spiced sweet potato wedges and a fresh fattoush salad, and, for dessert, a decadent eggnog cheesecake.
All courses will be paired with Distell wines.
Beyers chocolates will then be paired with a Bisquit cognac.
There will be a lucky draw for prizes. We have a few places left so book soon.
THE ART OF PASTRY MAKING
Date: Thursday, November 20 Time: 9am-1pm Cost: R380 a person
Join expert baker Maatje Vollmer and learn the art of making pastry. You will make shortcrust, flaky, hot water pastry, choux and more. There will be a festive twist to some of the recipes.
