GRAMMY Award-win­ning sax­o­phon­ist Kenny G per­forms in Joburg for one night only on Thurs­day – and you, The Star reader, have a chance to at­tend.

In a ca­reer that spans three decades and 23 al­bums, Kenny G has grafted el­e­ments of R&B, pop and Latin to a jazz foun­da­tion so­lid­i­fy­ing his rep­u­ta­tion as the premier artist in con­tem­po­rary jazz.

Since the early 1980s, his com­bi­na­tion of in­stru­men­tal chops and in­deli­ble melodies have re­sulted in sales of more than 75 mil­lion records world­wide.

He’s been at the top of Bill­board’s con­tem­po­rary jazz chart more than a dozen times.
