Healthy appetites

USTwhen all layers of government departments are being asked to tighten their belts and save on unnecessary expenditure comes the news that the Tshwane municipality has spent a mind-boggling R15 million on takeaways for employees in one month.

The burning question is: How many people were required to work overtime to need that much food in such a short space of time, and what type of food was supplied?

A municipal spokesman says answers will be provided soon. We wait with anticipation.
