Reunion with your lost teddy

The Star Early Edition - - OPINION&ANALYSIS -

A TRAIN firm has launched a campaign to reunite children with their lost teddies. First Great Western is using posters and a website with mugshots of cuddly toys which have been left on its trains.

Dozens are being stored in lost property offices, with the bulk kept in a vault beneath Bristol Temple Meads station. The firm, which runs services between London’s Paddington and the Thames Valley, Hampshire, the West and Wales, hopes to return the bears in time for Christmas. Its website lets people submit a search for a teddy, even if they are unable to remember exactly where it was lost.

A spokesman said: “People need to give us a description of the teddy and its distinguishing features and we’ll see if we can find it.” – Mail On Sunday
