Stander case post­poned

THE TRIAL of the taxi driver who al­legedly knocked over and killed moun­tain biker Burry Stander was post­poned yes­ter­day. The mat­ter would re­sume on Fe­bru­ary 12, next year. The post­pone­ment was to al­low Njab­ulo Nya­wose to ob­tain funds to pay his de­fence coun­sel, said KwaZulu-Natal NPA spokes­woman, Natasha Ramkisson-Kara. Nya­wose al­legedly knocked down Stander, 25, while he was cy­cling in Shel­ley Beach last year.
