A neigh­bour’s cable prob­lem switches off lights in Na­turena

JOAN SINI­VASAN WRITES: Please can you let me know where I can go as I get no as­sis­tance from City Power.

I have been with­out elec­tric­ity for nearly three weeks.

I have called and re­ceived a whole lot of ref­er­ence num­bers, but noth­ing is be­ing done.

I live in Na­turena Ex­ten­sion 19 and I am the only one in my street with­out elec­tric­ity.

Ev­ery time I call, I am told my query is be­ing pri­ori­tised, but still, noth­ing is be­ing done.

I am sent from pil­lar to post, which is re­ally frus­trat­ing me now.

I have a whole trail of ref­er­ences; how­ever, they are not as­sist­ing me in any way.

I have spent so much money on air­time, phon­ing the call cen­tre, that I now am to­tally de­pleted. Please help. SINI­VASAN WRITES AGAIN: The prob­lem was with the cable out­side my neigh­bour’s yard and it has been re­solved.

There was noth­ing wrong on my prop­erty.
